SGS-Certified Quality
Not your typical cheap, flimsy and unreliable Chinese products!
Y-Tech solves your problems – not create new ones.
Backed by SGS pressure resistance test results, Y-Tech pipe coupling clamps remain completely leak-free under 40 kg/cm² (bar) pressure.
Traditional piping work typically involves welding, flanging, or threading. But now, there’s a faster and more cost-effective alternative.
Y-Tech Pipe Coupling Clamps are specially designed to replace traditional flange joints. They are 30% lighter and 50% more compact than conventional flanges, and they allow a 2% tolerance in pipe diameter difference—making connections between steel and plastic pipes hassle-free.
These clamps are highly versatile and compatible with all types of piping materials, including stainless steel, carbon steel, copper, PVC, and ABS, with size options to match every pipe diameter.
Y-Tech pipe coupling clamps require no welding or secondary processing—simply install and go. They save both time and labour, while accommodating vibration and minor pipe misalignment. It’s the most efficient and economical solution for pipe connections.
Widely used across water treatment, machinery, HVAC, fire protection, compressed air, gas, granules, and powder systems—even vacuum suction lines.
Got questions about pipe sizes? Don’t hesitate to contact us.
Many pipe clamps available on the market are low-cost, poor-quality imports from China, with a high risk of leaking again within a short period of time.
Inferior clamps purchased elsewhere often begin to rust or degrade, leading to leaks recurring in no time—wasting both time and money.
Inferior rubber lining deteriorated rapidly, causing cracks, deformation and leaking.
Rusty bolts and casing led to recurring leaks — a clear sign of poor quality.
So, why choose Y-Tech pipe coupling clamps over other brands?
They may look similar at first glance—but are they really the same? The devil is in the details.
Below is a detailed comparison between Y-Tech and a made in China product.
1. Casing Finish
Y-Tech
Smooth and evenly finished shell ensures effortless screw tightening with no resistance.
Chinese Product
Rough, uneven shell surface increases resistance during tightening, making installation more difficult.
2. Welding Technique
Y-Tech
Uses automated seam welding for deep, uniform welds—resulting in high structural rigidity.
Chinese Product
Manual spot welding with shallow, sparse welds—prone to weakness.
3. Serrated Expansion Gap
Y-Tech
Intentionally designed with a built-in expansion gap between serrations, allowing smooth clamp tightening.
Chinese Product
Overlapping serrations interfere with each other and jam—forcing tightening can strip the screws or deform the clamp body.
4. Rubber Gasket Quality
Y-Tech
Made from high-grade materials using precision moulds. The rubber is smooth, free of burrs, thick, and provides excellent sealing and elasticity.
Chinese Product
Rubber surface is rough with burrs, poor elasticity, and a high risk of leaks shortly after installation.
5. Shell Thickness
Y-Tech
Sturdy shell thickness firmly holds the rubber seal and serrated structure in place without loosening.
Chinese Product
Shell is only half as thick as Y-Tech’s—easily detached under lateral tension or force.
6. Screw Head Design
Y-Tech
Exclusive dual-purpose internal and external hex screws (for sizes up to 4")—compatible with most wrenches, resistant to stripping.
Chinese Product
Low-grade internal hex screws with limited compatibility and durability.
7. Accessories that extend product lifespan
Y-Tech
Includes internal stainless steel reinforcement plates—significantly extending clamp lifespan, especially in vacuum or high-stress conditions.
Chinese Product
No reinforcement—reduced durability.
Suitable for chilled water pipes, fire-fighting pipes, chemical pipelines and more.

5" & 6" Pipeline Pressure Test
Pressure testing conducted prior to adoption by semiconductor facilities.

High Pressure Resistance, No Leakage
Tested to withstand over 40 kg/cm² without leakage.

2-1/2" Water Supply Pipe in Residential Building
Quick and visually clean installation using Y-Tech quick couplings.

4" Underground Water Pipe
Partial pipeline replacement completed with quick couplings, suitable even in damp environments.

4" & 6" Wastewater Tank Piping
Quick couplings allow for fast disassembly—making pipe cleaning much easier.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What is the lifespan of pipe coupling clamps?
Under normal usage conditions, pipe coupling clamps can last for 15 to 20 years.
Will the coupling come loose during vibrations/earthquakes?
The coupling features serrated grips on both ends, allowing it to bite firmly onto the pipe. Even during seismic activity or vibrations, it will not come loose.
Can the pipe clamp be reused?
Yes, it is reusable.
How do I select the correct size?
First, measure the outer diameter of the pipe you wish to use. Then, refer to the pipe coupling clamp specification page to select the appropriate size. If you're unsure, feel free to consult our sales representative.
What is the difference between the Standard and Extended pipe coupling clamps? How do I choose the correct one?
The distance between the two pipe ends (labelled S in the diagram) must not exceed the B length listed in the specifications table. If the pipes cannot be moved and the gap is too wide, please use an Extended connect pipe coupling clamp to prevent leakage.
Can the clamp be used if the pipe is close to a wall or another pipe? What is the thickness of the clamp?
Clamp thickness is calculated as: (T – Outer Diameter of Pipe) / 2. For example, for a standard DN100 pipe: (142mm – 114.3mm) / 2 = 13.9mm.
Can different pipe materials be connected?
Yes, all types of pipe materials can be connected.
Are there any pipe types that are not compatible?
Not suitable for glass pipes or flexible hoses. Also not suitable for sanitary pipes carrying food-grade fluids.
